Sharing some love

Christmas is the time of sharing and loving. We always hear this saying Its better to give than to receive but in my situation, I received more than what I have expected. So now is the time for me to share of what I have and give back those blessings given to me. No matter how big or small. Its not about the amount and how expensive the thing is. However, it is the thought that counts.

After couple months of collecting and buying things. At last! our balikbayan box for my family is already full and ready to go by next week. I wish I can put myself into the box and ship myself..haha! I am just so happy right now. Thanks to hubby for helping me all the way. It feels good when you know  you make people happy in simple ways. Happy Holidays!

Its the most WONDERFUL time of the year!MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone and  Happy Anniversary to my one and only Prince charming. Its been 3 years now that hubby and I been together ♥ ♥ ♥!!!
We spent Christmas by attending a midnight mass  at downtown Portland. Then head to our friend's Christmas dinner party up to 4 in the morning. Took a nap at my in law's house woke up after 8am then  we opened presents. Went to Granmas house and had Christmas breakfast together with the family. Then opening presents again.

May everyone experience Christmas in its truest sense, not only to the gifts and material things that we have but to the people we cherished and treasure. And May the good times and treasures of the present become the golden memories of tomorrow.Wish u lots of love, joy and happiness.

I wish I could spent it with my family back home but my Christmas this year is so Merry and Blessed. Thank you Lord and Happy Birthday :)...mwah!

Besides from my very busy schedule this week, I keep thinking that I have to make more cards as soon as possible since Christmas is just days from now. So here are the rest of the Christmas cards that I made recently ;).

More VS Scents

***This is not a sponsored post***

Hubby and I went to the mall today to redeem my secret reward card that I got when we shop there the other week. I was hoping it was more than the minimum amount  but the gift card I got was only worth $10 which is still fine with me. So I bought this 3 Beauty Rush body mist which comes from different scents which are the Berry Cosmo, Plumdrop and Whipped cream and winter pear. It is 3 for $25 dollars and I only paid $15 of my pocket since the gift card is worth $10. I really like the smell of those Victoria Secret's fragrances.I might give these ones to my sisters for them to try and see if they also like it. How about you guys? What type of body mist do you like at VS?

Christmas shopping ideas at Zappos

Christmas is just right around the corner and people are going crazy buying presents for their love ones.  Shopping centers are very crowded and busy. Hubby and I went to the mall the other week to give one of us an idea on what gifts we will give to each other. Aside from video game related stuff that he really like, one thing that he also want is The North Face jacket. When we were strolling inside the mall area, I found the black jacket with The North Face brand but they don't have the right size for him. Later that night, I was browsing the internet and look for that jacket  with the right size and I found it at Zappos. I also found couple things that I might also get but it will not be for him but for myself, it is The North Face boots for women. So I bookmarked it right away and will surely order it from their site and made my Christmas shopping easier.

How about you guys? Are you done with your Christmas shopping? One thing that I can advice to you to avoid the stress this holiday season is by doing your Christmas shopping online. It gives you comfort of home without battling the crowds in the Malls or in some cases, bad weather. It saves you time and gas to travel.

Brownies anyone?

After a long day, i decided to baked a brownies  for hubby's midnight cravings. I admit, I'm not one of those people who's into sweets. I mean I do like to try it but after awhile, I get bored of eating it (lol).

Here's how:
You just need vegetable oil, water, 2 large eggs and Pillsbury Chocolate fudge milk. You also need a mixing bowl, measuring cup, spatula and a baking pan. Its very simple and quick. Just combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir it 50 times with spoon. Then preheat the oven for  350 degree Fahrenheit  and baked it for 35 minutes and you're done. Best if served with chocolate ice cream.

My Christmas Wishlist

The family of my hubby asking what would be our Christmas wish list. Hmm, I don't know really. I'm not used to ask anything from somebody for some reason. Okay, okay. Since I've been given a chance to ask what I want for myself that would be something to wear like shoes or sweater. Something for my hobby like art papers (for card making), printer or camera/camcorder. Something to put my things in like wallet or a purse. What else?(lol) Anything really!...Oh and before I forgot, this is my wish-list of all. A box full of stuff for my family back home ;).

As what hubby said, I'm always easy to pleased.  Yeah, he is right, I am not picky. Anything that I received and will receive is always appreciated and thankful for. For me, Christmas is not all about presents and material things, it is the love that we have to give to the people we cherished and treasure.

Christmas embellishments

As what I had posted on my blog last month, I had our tree up the month of November after Halloween and started to decorate our place of Christmas stuff since then. When I was in the Philippines, we used to make our own Christmas tree including those ornaments and lanterns are made out of anything. From the coconut broomstick (walis tingting), cottons, Chinese colored papers, bamboo sticks, etc.

Here's my pair share of our fake Christmas tree. I wanted to try the fresh ones because I love the scents it may bring to the entire apartment but we decided not to since we have our cats and they might play and eat the leaves. The rest of the decorations were used from previous Christmas. Some of those were given to us by my in laws and his family's side.

Natural toothpaste

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Toms of Maine. All opinions are 100% mine.

It was April this year when I had this infected tooth which cause my face swollen so bad and looks really huge. We went to the dentist and find out that my wisdom tooth was infected and they had to pull it out. It was not a fun experience I believe.

Since I have a sensitive gums, that made me realize I have to take good care more of my teeth and gums in order to avoid dental problems in the future. When we went grocery shopping couple weeks ago, we came across to the oral care area and hubby found this Tom's Of Maine toothpaste and mouthwash. Hubby was really interested to it since it was made by natural ingredients which gives cavity protection and uses powerful natural flavor oils and a patent-pending botanical extract to provide long-lasting fresh breath. After trying it for couple days, I like using it since it has a mild taste compare strong minty one. It feels so fresh and clean. My gums haven't bleeding yet. So far so good.

How about you guys? Have you tried Tom's of Maine toothpaste before? I would love to hear your experience of this product and by the way, they have a contest called  That's Wicked Fresh contest page and you'll get a chance to win a gift card worth  $500. And be a follower on Facebook and Twitter as well.

Snowman Christmas Card

Another tradition on Christmas is to send your family and friends a Christmas card. I don't usually buy a card because I myself make my own Christmas card. Aside from cost effective, it is also more personalized and made by your own uniqueness.

Below are the first batch that I made. It is Snowman Christmas cards. We're going to send these ones to my in-laws house, grand parent's house and granma's house.

24 chocolate days 'til Christmas!

Its 24 days until Christmas! Yep, I'm counting down the days now. Christmas is really in the air huh? I can hear Christmas songs now played on the radio. See Christmas decorations and lights in every houses in our neighborhood.

Anyway, hubby got each one of us an Advent Calendar a week ago. It is a Christmas calendar filled with 24 milk chocolates. It has a corresponding numbers from 1-24. It means that you will open the tiny box everyday and eat the chocolate inside of it from day of December first until Christmas day. Every  candy has different Christmas design and drawing you'll see inside.

Its one of their Christmas tradition of hubby and his brother  when they were kids. I myself never tried this before and I find it  pretty cool and fun. It makes easier for me to countdown the days til Christmas by just opening the box of chocolate everyday.
