My big Teddy!

Introducing...my big Teddy! Hubby got this for me when we went to Costco the other day. I knew from the start that he'll be mine! lol. My friend and I saw this the last time we went to Costco and I thought it was pretty cool. This is the biggest stuffed animal that I had seen so far and probably fit in to my collections.

Hubby and I together with my in laws went to Costco to do grocery shopping and saw this huge Teddy once again. My mother in law grab it right away and told hubby to buy it for me. And there you have it.....my big Teddy =).

Cell Phone carriers

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Straight Talk for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

Hubby and I spend too much money on our phone bills. After the discount that we got from our carrier, we pay 130 dollars a month. It is still pretty spendy to me. That's why I researched some cell phone carries that allows us to save our bucks.

Recently I've read about this Straight Talk . I got interested about their service since there is no contracts, no credit checks, and no activation fees. Also they only use trusted phone manufacturers like LG, Motorola, Kyocera, Nokia and Samsung. You can also get unlimited monthly service that includes unlimited minutes, text, and web for only $45. Wow! What a difference on what we are paying right now. We could save 50 bucks a month if we switch to this carrier. It is something that hubby and I have to decide on after we end our contract.  It is also nice to know that you can  call a friend anytime and not worry about going over your minutes.

I have got to say it really has everything you need . I've even found out that you get calls to 411 for free, so now I can get my questions answered that much easier without dealing with the added charges. Straight Talk also has great nationwide coverage and excellent reception in every area where you can use your phone.  For those that don't want to spend alot initial on a phone, reconditioned phones are available from $10.00 with camera, mp3 player, mobile web access, and blue-tooth capability. A great value for a teens first phone. I think if you give it a try it will grab you hook, line and sinker . If you want additional information on the phones they offer or on service, watch the youtube video below.

Finding a scrubs for a friend

Today was my day off, as well as my friends, so we ended up hanging out. Days off for us are always a time for catching up on the week's errands that have been piling up. Among the grocery shopping, bill paying, and house cleaning that I had to do, we had to find some scrubs for my friend who is in medical field. The only local medical garment supply store around town is quite expensive, and the next closest shop is an hour away. Much like everything else these days, we decided to shop around online and see what we could come up with. We started searching for discounted scrubs, and found a ton of results. The one that peaked my interest was http://www.blueskyscrubs.com/ . They carry scrubs set, jackets, labcoats, and anything a medical student or working professional could need. My friend decided to shop from them, as their prices were far and away better than the local shop. It was definitely worth the time spent searching to find them, and we were able to knock one more errand off of our list.

What's for breakfast?

Fried rice, scrambled egg, pandesal (rolls) with butter, eggplant with egg, banana and coffee. Those are just my usual  foods that I had for my typical breakfast when I was in the Philippines. I grew up in a vegetarian family where in fruits and vegetables are always served in every meal.

Good thing that hubby also believes that being healthy is to eat healthy food, balance diet and a perfect lifestyle. As for breakfast, I prepare scrambled egg, oatmeal, toast, protein powders (for hubby) and cereal.  I'm not a fan of cereal before but the more I eat it, the more I get used to  flavor and started  liking it. A week ago, I received two boxes of cereal from Kellogg's FiberPlus. One in Berry Yogurt Crunch and the other box is Cinnamon Oat Crunch. So I tried it right away and both are good! It is not only delicious but nutritious as well.  It has an excellent source of several essential nutrients including fiber and the antioxidant vitamins C and E. So it is a good choice into our diet.

These has been my breakfast for a week now and I'm loving it! I'm also munching these cereal as snack too! How about you guys? What do you eat for breakfast? Do you like cereal too? I would recommend these product.  Let me know if you did try and how you like it as well.

My recent pagerank

Google PageRank Checker

Looking back, it was October of 2009 when I first started to make a blog. I was so curious when I know couple people also a stay at home mom/wife which do blogging and can earn from it . I got motivated to make one so I research and learned it myself.  Then couple months later, I get tired and I stopped writing. After a year I came back with a new name of my blog and finally push myself to do blogging. However, maintaining a blog is really hard especially when you don't have time, busy at work or just lack of ideas what to write. That's  why I sometimes write articles off and on. Some of those were interesting and boring ones...lol. But I also find myself entertained, relaxed and stress free when I do these things.

Just now, I checked my Pagerank and I was very much surprise. I got rank2!!! Woohooo! I can't believe this! I was very happy when I found out. I will try to maintain this as best as I can. Thanks for those people who always drop by and spend their time reading some of my boring/nonsense posts (lol) . I promise to do better. Your are loved....Anne :) .

Before I move

So recently I've been looking at homes near the southeastern United states, as my job may require me to relocate to somewhere near Alabama. This would be a pretty big move for me, and definitely not something I'm familiar with doing. Picking up your whole life and moving it across the country is a tough thing to do, especially when you are settled in already in your current residence. Among the many things I've had to consider, from a new living space to movers, I noticed the little things that I will have to move along with me. I know I won't be able to entertain myself without internet and satellite tv. Direct TV had a good rate in the area I was looking at houses, which inclines me to go with them. Another service I've been pondering is home security orange beach, mainly due to the increase in crime with the recent recession. Not having anyone around that I know, feeling secure in my home is an important matter for me. It's a lot to take in at one time, but if I have to do it, it's good to know that I have my bases covered.

Burned biscuits

Going to church always make me happy. It lessens the problems and stress that I have inside.  It is also great to give thanks for all the Blessings that we received and listen to the word of God. Just today, hubby and I attended Sunday mass at St. Joseph Parish near our area. When the mass was ended, I grab their Sunday announcement paper. There was a story included in one page. I copied the story for you guys to read including the message of Father John (Parish Priest). The story reminds me of a friend of mine close to my heart. She told me one time when she and her husband had a little argument, she cooked him a burned steak...lol. And her husband didn't even say anything but happily ate the steak ;). It is very similar to this story, have a look! I got inspired, hope you too as well :). Be Blessed!
Burned Biscuits --Author unknown
When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she has made breakfast after a long, hard day at work. On that evening so long ago, my Mom placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet, all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask how my day was at school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that biscuit and eat every bite!

Date night and Transformers

Its our date night and hubby picked me up after work then went to Mexican restaurant and had our lunch. Later that night,  hubby and I decided to watch Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon in 3D. When we reach the ticket booth to buy our tickets, the lady ask him, "two adults?" and hubby said yes...the lady was kinda hesitant as I can see in her face...lol. Then she gave us 3D glasses 1 for adult and 1 for kid...lol. Hello? She might think I am a kid? Good thing the glasses fit me well and as you can see in the photo, I just look like hubby's Math teacher...eh? lol.

Back to the movie, hubby thought it was pretty good but for me, the movie as a whole was not as good as i thought it would be i still think the second one (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) is the best of the trilogy. I also like the character of Mikaela Banes (Megan Fox) on the second one, She seems had an important character in the movie while Carly Miller (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley) is just hot pretty woman. Though the visual and sound effects were better since it was in 3D.
